Arnold W Bazart
Arnold W Bazart, in his 63rd year, surrendered to the will of God on Saturday morning, April 24, 2004, surrounded by his loving family.
Better known to everyone as "Peter," Mr. Bazart arrived on September 30, 1940, from the loving union of Christopher and Clarelia [Johnson] Bazart. He grew up in Okmulgee and attended the Okmulgee Public Schools, culminating with graduation from the Historic Dunbar High School with the Class of 1958.
Peter was a husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend,who provided for his family through his labor at the Okmulgee Refinery until it closed, and later operated his own construction business. He was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church and will be missed by all who knew him.
Mr. Bazart was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ella Tarkington.
Remaining to wait on the Lord; his devoted wife of 41 years, Florida Bazart, of the home in Okmulgee; his son, Wayne Bazart and wife Wanda, Rowlette, Texas; his daughters, LaRonda and fiance‘ Bobby Biggs,‘ Tulsa, Oklahoma, Wanda and Mark, also of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Demita Conner, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a sister, Clarice Bazart, Okmulgee, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren; four greatgrandchildren; an aunt and uncle, Ella and Ernest Dewberry, Athens, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Mary Hammon, Joyce Dansby and Sharon O‘neal; three brothers-in-law, George Dansby, James Dansby and Otis O‘neal; along with other relatives and many friends
