Arthur Lee Biglow
As we reflect……
Robert and Mary (Smith) Biglow celebrated the birth of a baby boy on June 2, 1943 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. They named this new son Arthur Lee Biglow.
At an early age, Arthur accepted Christ at Saint Mary‘s Baptist Church in the - Sharp Community, where he lived with his family. Arthur attended school in Okmulgee, where he graduated from the Historic Dunbar High School with the Class of 1961.
Arthur was an accomplished guitar player and played with several bands. He loved to entertain and was very popular with his friends. He spent most of his adult life in the Los Angeles area,where he labored as an underwater welder.In 1974, Arthur was involved in a serious motorcycle accident which left him disabled. He still possessed his humor and wit through these times and we will miss him dearly.
Arthur passed away on May 8, 2002 in Sun Land, California.
He leaves to cherish his memory; his sons, Shawn Biglow and Byron Biglow, both of Los Angeles, California; his brothers,‘ Hilton Biglow, Cameron, Texas, Robert Elmer Biglow, Los Angeles, California, and Alfred Biglow, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, his sisters; Lois Wilson, Okmulgee, Oklahoma, Maxine Austin, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, Carrie Mae Lewis, Grayson, Oklahoma, Erma Dean, Gardena, California and Joyce McCurdy, Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with a caravan of other relatives and many friends.
