Lois Virginia (Genchan) Green Gordon
Lois V. Green Gordon was born to the late Otto and Frances Genchan on December 4, 1912 in Saratoga, Arkansas. She lived in Kansas City, Kansas; Seattle, Washington and Washington, D. C. After retiring from a career in nursing, she settled in Kansas City, Missouri.
She was a faithful and dedicated member of Centennial United Methodist Church and was an active participant in numerous church organizations.
Lois Gordon, 88, passed away March 21, 2001. She was preceded in death by two sons, Otto E. Green and Ellis Green.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Charles D. Green of Kansas City, Kansas and John W. Green of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter-in-law, Maxyne L. Green of Kansas City, Kansas; four grandchildren, Donna K Briggs of Kansas City, Missouri, Otto E. Green of Chicago, Illinois, Derek S. Green and Amid C. Green both of Kansas City, Kansas; one brother, Alvin Genchan of Saratoga, Arkansas; two sisters: Zolene Alexander of Kansas City, Kansas and Lorene Bazart of Okmulgee, Oklahoma and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
