Erma Jean Herndon
Erma Jean Herndon 65, of Tulsa, formerly of Okmulgee died March 25, 2004 in Tulsa. Erma was born on January 30, 1939 in Okmulgee, the daughter of Reubin Cornelius and Catherine (Thompson) Biglow.
She attended the Okmulgee Public Schools and has lived in Tulsa since 1969. She worked as a domestic housekeeper and was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah‘s Witness. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dennis Ray Herndon in 1999, a son, a brother and a sister.
Survivors include a son, Johnny Ray Reagor, Tulsa; her daughters, Catherine Maxey and Carolyn Delores Harris, both of Tulsa; a brother, Connie Mack Costner, Detroit, Michigan; her sisters, Florine Evans and Clarencetta Edwards, both of Tulsa, and Darlene Allen, Fort Lauderdale, Florida; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Service of Memory for Mrs. Herndon will be held on Tuesday, March 30, at 11:00 a.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah‘s Witness. Brother Spencer Barpek will officiate. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
