James Albert Hoggans
A life was ended on October 3, 2002, when James Albert Hoggans was taken from us. After so much suffering, the Lord took from him all of his pain and took him to Himself, where there is no more pain.
James Albert (Jim) was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on November 11, 1943, to Voreese and Fannie Crumbley Hoggans. James was baptized at an early age and united with the Macedonia Baptist Church under the direction of Reverend S. Rocquemore.
James attended Attucks Grade School, Fort Elementary and graduated from Dunbar High School in the Class of 1961. He joined the U S Army in July of 1961 and served three years. He later married Barbara Nobles-Baker and from this union there were three children.
James is preceded in death by his father, Voreese Hoggans. He leaves to morn his passing, his mother, Fannie Hoggans of Okmulgee, OK, his children: Darren, James and wife Brenda, and Angela, two sisters: Laurzette of Morris, OK and Alfreda and husband Theodore Shaw of Tulsa, OK, one brother, Garland Hoggans of Okmulgee, OK. 5 grandchildren one uncle, a host of cousins nieces, nephews, Greg, friends and associates.
