John David Kepley
John David Kepley, 76, a resident of Haskell, died Saturday, March 6, 2004 in Muskogee. Graveside services are 1:00p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the Okmulgee Cemetery with Reverend Alfred Berryhill officiating. Services under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
Mr. Kepley was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1927 to Augusta (Anderson) and Ted C. Kepley, Sr. in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Armed Forces during World War II first in the Army division and then in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by one son, Anthony Kepley; one sister, Augusta N. Reid; and two brothers, Luther Earl Kepley and Salmon Noah Kepley.
Survivors include one daughter, Vicky Leigh Dudley and husband, Robert of Noble, Oklahoma; two sons, Kim Kepley and wife, Sue of Hespera, California and John David Kepley, Jr. and wife, Katy of Lancaster, California; two sisters, Madeline Bush and husband, Ray of Redwater, Texas and Pat Clements and husband, J.R. of Double Oaks, Texas; three brothers, Ted C. Kepley, Jr. of Okmulgee, Kenneth J. Kepley and wife, Linda of Garland, Texas, and Paul Franklin Kepley of Sulfer, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
