Robert "Peck" Robertson
Robert "Peck" Robertson, a resident of Dustin was born September 9, 1932 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Minnie Rose (Owens) Robertson and John Lee Robertson. He passed away Saturday, March 13, 2004 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 71 years 6 months and 4 days.
Peck served the United States in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was married to Wilma (Jorgenson) Robertson in Paris, Texas on December 10, 1988. He was a Truck Mechanic for many years and also retired from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority after working some 17 years. Peck was a member of First Baptist Church in Dustin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Henry Lee Robertson, John Harold Robertson, Walter Willie Wilson, and James Jackson Robertson, and by one sister, Susie Pangle. Peck is survived by his wife, Wilma Robertson, of the home; three sons, Robert Paul Robertson & wife Cindy, McLoud, Oklahoma; John William Robertson, Dustin; and Benjamin Wayne Robertson & fiance Tiffany, Dustin; one brother, Richard "Bill" Robertson & wife Yvonne, Henryetta; two sisters, Lucille Tiger & husband Tom, Tulsa; and Janice Robertson, Tulsa; five grandchildren, Kaitlin Leeann Robertson, McLoud, Oklahoma; Chad Eugene Robertson, Oklahoma City; Jonathan Brice Robertson, Oklahoma City; Tiffany Renea Harmon, Dustin; and Austin Wayne Robertson, Dustin; and a host of other relatives & friends .
Pallbearers will be Frank Blankenship, Cardell Huffman, Buddy Morris, Robert Lee Robertson, Timmy Robertson, Edward Robertson, Honorary Pallbearers will be John Jorgenson, and Robert Jorgenson.
Services will be held Wednesday, March 17, 2004 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church in Dustin officiated by Rev. Robert Hunnicut and Rev. Harmon Huffmen. Burial will be at Robertson Family Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
