Cora Belle Traywick
Cora Belle Traywick, 74, a resident of Okmulgee, died Saturday, February 28, 2004 in Okmulgee. Services are 10:00a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Second Baptist Church in Okmulgee with Reverend Jeff Vernon officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00p.m. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Poteau, Oklahoma. Services under the direction of the Shurden-Kelley Funeral Home of Okmulgee.
She was born on Friday, December 13, 1929 to Ora Marie (Williams) and George L. Davison in Poteau, Oklahoma. An honor graduate of E.O.S.C. in Wilburton, she worked as a registered nurse at Okmulgee Memorial Hospital from 1980 to 1985 and retired from George Nigh Rehab in 1999. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Okmulgee.She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tiffanee; and one brother, Robert Davison.
Survivors include two sons, David Traywick and wife, Tamara of Okmulgee and Joe Paul Trawick and wife, Carolyn of Okmulgee; two daughters, Georgia Marie Sullivan and husband, Dean of Okmulgee and Joyce Gann and husband, Curtis of Liberty Mounds; one brother, Leon Davison and wife, Carole of Crowder, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are David Joe Traywick, Christopher L. Traywick, Jacob Gann, Geoffry Traywick and Nathan Foreman.
